This week’s assignment for MMC5006 (Introduction to Multimedia Communications) has hypothetically put me in charge of creating August’s social media magic for Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park here in Orlando, Florida.  The following is a calendar of content I’ve designed to be used on Walt Disney World Resort’s Facebook and Twitter profiles to promote events and attractions as well as dining and shopping opportunities around the park during August of 2014.

 

Magic Kingdom Social Media Goals

Our first goal for August is to continue to drive traffic to the Magic Kingdom despite the back-to-school happenings this month.  The second goal is to specifically drive more traffic to, and increase awareness around, Fantasyland and New Fantasyland.
